The
Next Generation Cricket Schooll of Excellence was concluded on
Saturday with the young participants being presented with certificates
and other 'goodies'. The 10-week programme concluded with a
well-attended presentation ceremony during which Greg Wood, England
under19 captain and Yorkshire, presented certificates of achievement to
the youngsters who participated in the programme. The Cricket School of
Excellence, now in its 5th year, is run annually by Next Generation in
conjunction with Yorkshire Cricket, Azaad Cricket Club and Lightwaves
Leisure Centre. Tony Bowry, Yorkshire Cricket Development Officer,
praised the success of this programme and offered continued support
from YCB.
