Girl Power!
 What is Next Generation Girl Power?
It’s a girls-only space where you can meet up with your friends, chill out or join in one of our activities. We meet Tuesdays from 4.30 till 6 pm (age 14-18 ), Thursdays from 4.30 till 6 (age 8-13) and Saturdays from 1 to 3 pm (age 8 to 15) at Nxt Gen's YouthZone @ Lightwaves Leisure Centre from 1-3pm.
What kind of things does the group do?
Everything from aerobics, Wii and games, arts & crafts to cooking, baking and trips out - we try to do lots of different things so there’s something for everybody. But you don’t have to join in the activities if you don’t want to - the girls group is also a chance to relax with your friends and chill out – watch a video, listen to music, play games, even read a book! We also have a quiet area if you need any help with school work, course work, revision.
 Does it cost anything?
It costs £1.00 every week for the regular activities.
We have to pay more when we go on trips out to other places.
How do I join?
You need to fill in a form with your details and one of your parents needs to sign it. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.Then you need to read our group rules and sign them to say you will follow them. Then you just need to turn up to the sessions and enjoy yourself!
